- Currently, GigaFiber has two subscription options of Rs 2,500 or Rs 4,500 security deposit
Independence Day Sales aren’t the only thing that the people of the country are looking forward to in August this year. Reliance Jio’s Annual General Meeting 2019 is going to be a grand event this year as the telco is going to commercially launch the Reliance Jio GigaFiber fibre-to-the-home service for the people of India. However, while the hype remains concentrated to Reliance Jio GigaFiber, it is not the only service that the telecom operator is going to launch. Bundled with it, are going to be more services from Reliance Jio which it will offer for its subscribers and some of them include GigaTV, landline service and more. Now in a new development, we have come to know that the telecom operator has started a wider rollout for its landline service and the users are being given a landline connection from Reliance Jio. Here is more information about Reliance Jio’s landline connection.
JioFixedVoice: How You Can Get It?
The first thing to note is that Reliance Jio is calling its landline service as “JioFixedVoice” and next up, the notification about JiFixedVoice has started appearing on the MyJio app for select subscribers. The subscribers of Reliance Jio GigaFiber who have subscribed for a connection as part of beta testing are apparently being extended the invitation for this landline service. Another notable thing is that the subscribers who had only taken the Rs 4,500 connection are being offered this invitation currently and not to the subscribers who had chosen the other option of the Rs 2,500 security deposit for the GigaFiber plan. While the first and costlier one comes with dual-band Wi-Fi router and 100 Mbps speed, the second one comes with 50 Mbps speed and a single band router.

When Did JioFixedVoice Surface?
The first time when Reliance Jio was spotted offering this service was shortly after the telco had begun the beta testing of its GigaFiber service in prime cities of India. In the initial days, the subscribers were asked to arrange their own telephone equipment. In its latest invitation for JioFixedVoice which is appearing on MyJio app, the subscribers are being asked to verify their number so that they can proceed ahead for a JioFixedVoice connection after activation on their account.
Reliance Jio GigaFiber: The Elephant in the Room
Under all the Reliance Jio GigaFiber hype, the only solid hint towards the pricing of its plans has been through the triple play plan of Reliance Jio. According to the previous leaks on the matter, the Triple Play plan by the telco which was first rolled out for the employees as part of testing will cost Rs 600, and in this, the telco will offer three services which would include TV services, fibre-based broadband and landline. The broadband service from Reliance Jio would offer 100GB data per day, and there would also be unlimited calling benefit. Not only this, but the subscribers would also get 1000GB worth of additional data divided in 40GB vouchers which the subscribers will be able to use in case they run out of data. The customers would also get access to Reliance Jio apps. Another branch of service under the Triple Play plan would be the TV services which Reliance Jio is likely to provide through IPTV, and it is being called the GigaTV.
